Hopkins Company, showing the various buildings, landscapes, acreage, and street routes for several blocks. Original building structures are depicted on the map, such as Independence Snuff Company, Gulf Refining Company, Harley Pottery Company, Ashcraft School (African American), Newsom Crushed Stone Company, New Shops Church (labeled as Campbellite Church on the map), and John W. Thomas School (labeled as School on the map). Portions of the Chattanooga and St. Louis Railway along with portions of the Illinois Central Railroad are also shown.
