Hopkins Company, showing the various buildings, landscapes, acreage, and street routes for several blocks. Original building structures are depicted on the map, such as Meharry Medical College, Trimble Bottom School (African American), Hospital of the Good Shepherd, various unidentified churches and the Nashville Railway and Light Company. Portions of the Illinois Central Railroad and Brown's Creek are also shown on the map.
