An illustrated map of Memphis, Tenn. during the 1870s showing commercial buildings, churches, houses, and structures from an aerial view. Streets are named, and there is a numbered key at the bottom that provides names of businesses, cemeteries, churches and other buildings. The Mississippi River runs through the lower section of the map with a number of named steamboats passing along it.
This is a reproduction of the original map done in 1975 by Historic Urban Plans from a lithograph at the Library of Congress. It is number 35 of an edition limited to 500 copies.
