Hopkins Company, showing the various buildings, landscapes, acreage, and street routes for several blocks. Original building structures are depicted on the map, such as Phoenix Cotton Mills, Nashville Carbon and Oil Company, Nashville Humane Society, Knowles School (an African American school), Church of Christ (an African American church), Fisk Memorial Chapel, and Buttorff Manufacturing Company. Portions of the Nashville, Chattanooga, and St. Louis Railway and the Louisville and Nashville Railroad are also depicted.
